Crafting
Crafting
Most crafting, other than Abilities, Alchemy, and Smelting, is done at Tables IN the Tower during a climb.
Cauldron
The Cauldron, accessible in the Entrance, allows for potion crafting. Recipes can be purchased at the Arcanist. Each crafting recipe yields 3 of the desired potion.

Smelter
The Smelter, accessible in the Entrance, melts down swords into raw materials based on their properties. Swords bought from NPC's cannot be smelted.
Melting down a sword destroys it for a chance at Ores, Upgrade Stones, Awakening Stones, Refining Powder, and Fate Seals.
Tips:
- Fate Seals only result from smelting a sword with an Upgrade on it.
- Awakening Stones only result from smelting a sword with an Awakening.
- Higher rarity swords give more loot and a higher chance at rare items.

Tables
Tables can be found in the Tower at specific locations on each level. Each table performs a single action.
Item Portal
Allows retrieval of any items from your Stash. One of the most commonly found tables, can be useful for recovering after a death or retrieving ingredients for a craft at another nearby table.
Enchanting Table
Allows Upgrading, Awakening, and Refining of items. Currently this only applies to Swords. Flasks indicate they are Upgradeable, but that functionality has not yet been added.
Upgrade
Swords must have their 'Kill Essence' quota filled before they are eligible to be upgraded. Kill Essence is accumulated by getting kills with that specific sword in the Tower. Kill Essence and the NPC Kills stat are retained upon upgrade.
Upgrading does NOT change/increase any preexisting stats on a sword, including damage. This also applies to attributes such as Miner, Scavenger, Butcher, Scaling, which are set upon drop and modified by the Awakening process.
Upgrading increases the tier of the sword and adds a new 'Upgrade:' modifier. The current list of Upgrades:
- Combo Damage
- Cleave Damage
- Kiai Damage
- Riposte Damage
- NPC Damage
- Player Damage
- Combo Strength
- Combo Mining
- Combo Lifesteal
- Kiai Lifesteal
- Riposte Lifesteal
- Absorption
- Reflection
To choose the resulting Upgrade, you can pay a Fate Seal. Otherwise the Upgrade will roll randomly from the list above. This applies to EVERY Upgrade step, even if the sword already has an Upgrade stat on it, without a Fate Seal the next roll will be FULLY RANDOM.
Result: Random or Selected Upgrade and +1 Rarity
Craft Time: 45s
Locations: Map 1 Great Hall, Map 2 Crafting Corner
Awaken
Awakening allows the addition of an Awaken stat to a sword that does not currently have one. Awakens allow a sword to increase incrementally in power DURING a Tower Climb, Combat Challenge, or any other combat situation if the awaken condition is met.
List of Awakens:
- Scaling - Deals more damage in more difficult areas. +10 base damage per zone tier. (This is map levels, currently a max of 4)
- Vampiric - Gain +0.3% lifesteal per NPC kill. Max 18%. (Maxes after 60 NPC kills)
- Butcher's - Gain +1 base damage per NPC kill. Max 60 stacks.
- Scavenger's - Gain +3 base damage per chest looted. Max 20 stacks.
- Miner's - Gain +1 base damage per 20 ore mined. Max 60 stacks.
- Blessed - Gain +3 Strength per blessing shrine claimed. Max +15 Strength.
Swords must have their 'Kill Essence' quota filled before they are eligible to be Awakened. Awakening does NOT drain the accumulated Kill Essence.
To choose the resulting Awaken, you can pay a Fate Seal. Otherwise the Awaken will roll randomly from the list above.
NOTE: The cost may actually be cheaper on lower tiers, but it has not been confirmed yet.
Refine
This feature is not yet implemented.
Materials Tables
All OTHER Tables, besides the Item Portal and Enchanting Table, produce a single crafting material.
